A week or so ago I was contacted by the PR team behind
Vapiano to partake in the new fitness campaign; #EatPastaRunFaster. After
visiting the new Italian eatery earlier in the year in London, (see review here)
there's no way I was turning this collaboration down! Heading to the recently
opened Manchester venue, based at the Triangle, I was set for another deliciously
tasty evening.
As a regular runner and all-round gym enthusiast, the new
campaign sounded extremely exciting! Created by registered Dietician and Nutritionist
Sarah Schenker, the 5-day
nutritionally balanced plan was created for regular runners who make it between
5-10K each session. To insure you always perform to your maximum, a healthy
balanced diet is needed to keep you fit and energised. The right diet will in
touch, help boost your immune system and reduce the risk of injuries – which we
all know are a pain if you’ve got a holiday coming up and you’ve been told you
can’t train for a few weeks!
